There will be discussion on seat sharing soon.

As Lok Sabha elections 2024 are approaching, tension has started increasing in the INDI Alliance of opposition parties regarding the issue of seat sharing. Recently, in the fourth meeting of opposition parties held in Delhi, a demand was made to start discussion on seat sharing formula soon. However, now it is coming to light that the Congress Party has set aside time to discuss the issue of seat sharing.

National Alliance Committee is working

Congress had recently formed the National Alliance Committee to resolve the issue of seat sharing for the Lok Sabha elections. According to the report, this committee will hold a meeting on Friday and Saturday with the leaders of those states where INDI Alliance is likely to contest the elections along with other parties. After this, this committee will submit a report to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge which will also include the list of seats where Congress is in a strong position.

Formal talks from next week

According to the PTI report, Congress has started talks on seat sharing with allies at the local level in some states. However, after the National Alliance Committee submits the report to Mallikarjun Kharge, a formal meeting on the issue of seat sharing will begin next week. The final decision on alliance will be taken keeping in mind the national perspective.

Mamta and Uddhav framed the matter

Mamata Banerjee has expressed her desire to test Bengal alone in the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year. He has said that TMC will fight in Bengal and defeat BJP. Only TMC can teach a lesson to BJP in Bengal, not any other party. On the other hand, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena is adamant on contesting elections on 23 Lok Sabha seats of Maharashtra. Sanjay Raut has said that Shiv Sena means the biggest party of Maharashtra. (input language)
