Discussion on the statue of Ramlala.
The work of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya is going on at a fast pace. The work on the first phase of the temple is almost complete. In the new year, on 22 January 2024, the idol of Ramlala will be consecrated in the Ram temple. Now soon a decision is going to be taken among the members of the temple committee as to which idol of Ramlala should be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple. A meeting of the trust members was also held on Friday to take a decision on this issue.
When will the decision on the statue come?
A meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was organized on Friday regarding the idol of Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram temple. In this meeting the selection of the statue was discussed. According to information received from sources, within three days it can be decided which idol of Ramlala will be installed in the Ram temple.
Murthy will be decided by voting
If sources are to be believed, all three designs made by different sculptors will be placed on the table. The idol that gets the most votes will be installed at the consecration of the temple on January 22. Temple Trust Secretary Champat Rai has also said that the 51-inch tall statue reflecting Ram Lalla will be selected from three designs. The one who has the best divinity and childlike attitude will be selected.
