Where will elections be held in the sixth phase?

Lok Sabha Election 2024: The bugle of Lok Sabha elections has been sounded. The campaign campaigns of political parties, which are already busy in preparations, will now start gaining momentum. Major political parties of the country have also released the list of their candidates. The Election Commission has announced the election dates on Saturday. Lok Sabha elections will be held in a total of seven phases in the country. The first phase of elections will be held on April 19. Voting will be held in the second phase on 26th April, in the third phase on 7th May, in the fourth phase on 13th May, in the fifth phase on 20th May, in the sixth phase on 25th May, in the seventh and last phase on 1st June. The results of the elections will be revealed on June 4.

The sixth phase of voting will be held on May 25 for a total of 57 seats in 7 states. Notification for this will be issued on 29th April. May 6 will be the last date for filing nominations. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on May 7. May 9 is the last date to return nominations. Counting of votes will take place on June 4.

fifth phase voting

The fifth phase of voting will be held on May 20 for a total of 49 seats in 8 states. Notification for this will be issued on 26th April. May 3 will be the last date for filing nominations. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on May 4. May 6 is the last date to return nominations. Counting of votes will take place on June 4.

model code implemented

With the announcement of election dates, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force in the country. The Chief Election Commissioner requested political parties to maintain decorum during campaigning. Responding to a question, the Chief Election Commissioner said, “If there is any case of code of conduct violation against anyone, even if it is a renowned politician, we will not remain silent.” We will take action,” he said, adding, “Earlier we used to condemn but now we will take action.”
