Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra has started. This journey, which started from Manipur, will end in Maharashtra. The yatra, which started from Manipur, has reached Nagaland today. There MP Rahul Gandhi talked to the media. While talking to the media, he told why Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had refused to attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha program.

Media asked Congress MP Rahul Gandhi why Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is not going to Ayodhya on January 22? Answering this question, he said, ‘RSS and BJP have made the January 22 function a completely political Narendra Modi function. This is a program of RSS and BJP and I think that is why the Congress President said that he will not go to this function.
He further said that, we believe in all religions, all practices. Even the biggest authorities on Hinduism have made public what they think about the 22nd January celebrations. They think it is a political function. It is difficult for us to attend a political function which is built around the Prime Minister of India and the RSS.
What did you say about the journey?
Speaking to the media, Rahul Gandhi said, ‘We walked from Kanyakumari to Kashmir last year. Many people said that there should be a journey from West to East also. This journey is a journey of justice. Its goal is social and economic justice.
He further said that the idea behind starting this yatra from Manipur was that injustice has been done to this state. Despite the violence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP people did not come there. The commitment made to the people of Nagaland was also not fulfilled. This is a hybrid journey. We will try to talk to as many people as possible. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is a fight of ideology. The purpose of this yatra is to put the question of justice before the public. There are many other issues including caste wise census.
