Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has been asked in Japan whether he will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024? Answering this question, S Jaishankar said that you take your political decisions on the basis of the decision of the party leadership. That’s why I have been re-elected to the upper house Rajya Sabha last year. My membership in Parliament is safe. Besides, it’s not really a question I can answer.
BJP government will remain in future also
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is currently on a four-day visit to South Korea and Japan. During an interview here, Jaishankar claimed that BJP government will continue in the country. S Jaishankar claimed that we will have a 150% stable government for 15 years. He said that we can have a stable government for much longer than this.

External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar also delivered the inaugural address at the 16th India-Japan Foreign Minister Strategic Dialogue in Tokyo on March 7. He said that we see Japan as a natural partner in India’s development and transformation journey and in the pursuit of peace, prosperity and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
