Zoo’s lion attacked young man

A man was killed by an Asiatic lion at Sri Venkateswara Zoo in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. A 38-year-old man from Rajasthan was killed by an 8-year-old male Asiatic lion. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and started investigating the matter. Forest Department official said that the deceased was a resident of Alwar district of Rajasthan. The name of the deceased is Prahlad Gurjar. Actually Prahlad Gurjar had gone to visit the zoo alone at around 4 pm on Thursday evening. During this he entered the restricted area. According to the information, Prahlad was in an intoxicated state, due to which he committed such a mistake.

Man jumped into zoo

According to reports, the man tried to escape by climbing a tree, but when the lion roared, he slipped and fell. Then Share attacked him and killed him. Soon after the incident, the Karnacharis of Sri Venkateswara Zoo threw out the tourists and restricted the movement of people. After this the police were called and the police started investigating the matter. Tirupati Zoo official C. Selvam said that our animal keeper had warned Gurjar before entering the restricted area.

They said Prahlad ignored the warnings from the staff and jumped into the lions’ territory by jumping over the 6-feet high fence. As soon as the lion present in the enclosure saw him, he attacked him and bit his neck. Prahlad died soon after the incident. Selvam told that the zoo staff tried to save him but they could not save him. The zoo was closed after the attack. When the deceased was searched, his identity card was found in his purse, after which the name of the deceased was revealed and it was found that he was a resident of Rajasthan.
