Now you must be wondering how to make puris without oil, so let us tell you. These puris will be made in water! You are reading it absolutely right. Let us tell you today how zero-oil puri is made.

Ingredients to make Oil-Free Puri

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • water as required

How to make Oil-Free Puri

First of all, take one cup of flour and add 2 spoons of curd and salt as per taste. Now knead this flour well with water. The dough of puri should be a little hard. When the dough is finished kneading, put a cotton cloth on it and keep it like this for half an hour. After half an hour, take the dough ball and roll it out to make a puri. Make puris in the same way from the remaining kneaded dough.

After this, turn on the gas and add half a pan of water instead of oil in a big pan. When this water starts boiling then slowly add puri in it. Cook the puris in water for about 2 to 3 minutes until they float. After that, fry all the puris in water in the same way and then take them out. Now after that place these puris in the air fryer basket and air fry for 5 minutes at 200 degrees. Do not add too many puris at once, otherwise they will not cook properly. Preheat the air fryer before adding the parri. Enjoy your homemade oil-free puri with spicy chickpea or potato curry.
