Makhana Laddu Ingredients

  1. 150 grams makhana
  2. 100 grams coconut flakes
  3. Dry Fruits (Cashews, Pistachios, Almonds, Raisins)
  4. half teaspoon cardamom powder
  5. 2 tbsp ghee
  6. 2 cups jaggery
  7. 1 cup water

How to make Makhana Laddu?

To make Makhana Laddu, first turn on the gas and keep the pan. When the pan becomes hot, add 2 spoons of ghee in it. Now add 150 grams of makhana in it. Now roast the makhana well. When the makhana turns golden, take it out from the pan. After Makhana, roast all the dry fruits (cashew nuts, pistachios, almonds, raisins) thoroughly. After that, roast 100 grams of coconut shavings in half a teaspoon of ghee.

Now after that add 2 cups of jaggery in the pan. Till the time the jaggery melts, grind the makhana and dry fruits into powder in the grinder one by one. When the jaggery starts melting slightly, add 1 cup water to it. When the jaggery syrup becomes a little thick, then mix makhana powder, dry fruits powder and coconut shavings in it. Now add half teaspoon cardamom powder to this mixture for aroma. Now with light hands make round shaped makhana laddus. Your laddu is ready.
