Apart from Indian Under-19 team captain Uday Saharan, Musheer Khan and Saumya Pandey have got a place in the shortlist for ICC Player of the Tournament. While Uday has so far scored 389 runs in 6 matches in this tournament at an average of 64.83, Mushir Khan has also scored 338 runs in 6 matches at an average of 67.60. Saumya Pandey has shown his magic with the ball and taken 17 wickets in 6 matches at an average of 8.47.

If we talk about the shortlisted players from teams other than India, Quen Mafaka and Steve Stolk from South Africa have got the place. Apart from this, Hugh Wiebgan, who captains the Australia Under-19 team, is also in the race to win the Player of the Tournament award.
