The Australian team has now become the fourth team to win 100 matches in T20 International. Ahead of them in this list are the teams of India, Pakistan and New Zealand. While India has won 140 T20 International matches so far, Pakistan has won 136 and New Zealand has won 107 matches. While the Australian team, playing under the captaincy of Mitchell Marsh, won the first match of this T20 series on the last ball, it won the remaining two matches unilaterally. This was Australia’s last T20 series before the T20 World Cup. New Zealand has to tour Pakistan before the mega tournament where it will play a 5-match T20 series.
Now a 2 match test series will be played between the two teams
After the Australian team defeated New Zealand 3-0 at home in the T20 series, now their target will be to achieve similar performance in the 2-match Test series starting from February 29. In the points table of the third edition of the World Test Championship, Australia is currently at the third position while the Kiwi team is at the first position. New Zealand currently has 75 points percentage while Kangaroo team has 55 points percentage. The first test match of the series between the two teams will be played on the ground of Wellington.
