T20 World Cup 2024 is going to be held on the soil of America and West Indies. This time 20 teams will participate in the T20 World Cup. The schedule of T20 World Cup has already been announced. The Indian team won the T20 World Cup title in 2007 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. But since then Team India has not been able to win the T20 World Cup title. BCCI can take this big decision
T20 World Cup 2024 is starting from June 1. The Indian team will play its first match against Ireland on June 5. Whereas IPL 2024 is expected to start in the last week of March. In such a situation, the players will have a big responsibility to manage the workload. It is understood that no Indian player can be instructed for workload management during the IPL.
It depends on the franchise, because they are paying money to the Indian players. But the support staff of the franchises will have to give the fitness updates of the players included in the central contract to the NCA. According to PTI report, BCCI can first send those players to New York whose teams do not qualify for the IPL playoffs. Whereas the players who played in the knock-out stage will join the team after the tournament is over.
Indian team is in Group-A
The Indian team has got a place in Group A in the T20 World Cup 2024. Apart from India, this group includes teams from Ireland, Pakistan, USA and Canada. The Indian team will play the big match against Pakistan on June 9. Both India and Pakistan teams have won the T20 World Cup trophy once each.

5 June – Vs Ireland, New York
9 June – VS Pakistan, New York
June 12 – VS USA, New York
June 15 – VS Canada, Florida
