PSL 9: A cyber attack on the ticket-booking website of Pakistan Super League (PSL) has shocked the organizers and fans ahead of the 9th season of the tournament. The malicious cyber attack has not only dealt a major blow to ticket-booking but also disappointed fans who were eagerly waiting for the opportunity to get tickets for Season 9. Pakistan Super League’s own X account has given information about this cyber attack. After which there has been an uproar on social media.
PSL gave information
PSL wrote that there has been a cyber attack on the PSL 9 ticketing website (https://pcb.tcs.com.pk). The issue is being resolved with the ticketing partner’s technical team. We are expecting a resolution soon and hope to have the website services up and running again soon. The 9th season of the premier T20 league in Pakistan is set to begin on February 17 with a clash between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and inaugural and 2018 season winners Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
There will be competition between these teams
The group stage of season nine will have a total of 30 matches which will be played at four venues – Gaddafi Stadium (Lahore), National Bank Cricket Arena (Karachi), Multan Cricket Stadium (Multan), Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium (Rawalpindi). The playoffs of the tournament will be held in Karachi. The Qualifier 1 will be played at the National Bank Cricket Arena. Qualifier 1 will be played on March 14, followed by Eliminator 1 on March 15. The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Eliminator 1 will face each other in Eliminator 2 on March 16. The six teams The final of the tournament will be played on March 18. Notably, Qalandars and United are the two most successful franchises in the history of the competition, having won the tournament twice. Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans have made it one- Lived once.
