In such a situation, now Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced on Wednesday that they have formed a three-member special committee to assess the performance of Bangladesh team in the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup.

BCB director Inayat Hossain Siraj will serve as the convenor of the committee, while Mahbubul Anam and Akram Khan will be the remaining members of the committee which will look into the performance of Bangladesh, who became the first team to be eliminated from the World Cup. The Bangladesh Cricket Board said in a statement that the committee aims to investigate the factors that contributed to the team’s poor performance in the tournament and it will later present its findings to the board.
