Shardul Thakur on Sunday said that the BCCI will have to rethink next year’s Ranji Trophy schedule as playing 10 matches in just three days can lead to injuries to the players. Thakur said it would be difficult for the players to adjust to the three-day gap between knockout matches as this was not the case earlier.

New Zealand’s star batsman Devon Conway has a fracture in his thumb. He was injured in the second T20I match against Australia. New Zealand coach Gary Stead said that Conway would undergo surgery. Due to which he will remain out for eight weeks.
