Indian team coach Rahul Dravid said after the match that I do not want to be too strict while assessing him. But it was a challenging wicket and it was a bit challenging for some of our young batsmen to adjust to it. But he has skills. He has come here after scoring a lot of runs in domestic cricket. He has been selected on the basis of his merit. Sometimes it takes time for people to settle down. They are working really hard. It is just a question of them continuously improving and developing skills that will help them deal with such situations a little better.

England’s star batsman Ollie Pope played an excellent innings against the Indian team. He scored 196 runs. It was because of him that the England team was successful in winning the match.
