Brendon McCullum said that in the five Tests to be held in India, we will face a tough challenge against a very good Indian team. I am excited about it because you want to test yourself against the best team and I believe India is the best in its circumstances. This will be a good challenge for us. If we get success it will be great, if not then I know we will lose playing the style we want to play.

During this time, Brendon McCullum also expressed his views on the need of ‘Baseball’. He said that we are playing because we love cricket and we want to try to become as good at cricket as possible. You want to make sure you enjoy it and you shouldn’t wait until the end of your career to do so. We’ve been very fortunate that we’ve had some immediate success but I don’t think that’s a limitation for us. McCullum also remembered his fearless and unbeaten inning of 158 runs on 73 balls in the very first IPL match. He cited it as an inspiration for baseball.
