After the end of the ODI World Cup, 4 Indian bowlers have managed to be included in the top 10 list of the new rankings released by the ICC. However, pacer Mohammad Siraj, who was the number one bowler till a few days ago, has now moved away from the number one position. At present the top bowler in the ICC rankings is Keshav Maharaj of South Africa.

Keshav Maharaj tops ICC’s new rankings

In the new ranking of ODI bowlers released by the ICC, South African spinner Keshav Maharaj is the number one bowler with a rating of 741. Josh Hazlewood has now come at number two. His rating is 703. That means the gap between the first and second bowler is quite significant. Team India’s Mohammad Siraj, who was the number two bowler in the last ranking, has suffered a loss this time. He has now reached third place with a rating of 699.

Jasprit Bumrah also performed amazingly

Team India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah performed amazingly, he took two wickets in the World Cup final. They remain in fourth place. His rating is now 685. Whereas Adam Zampa, who became the second highest wicket taker in the World Cup this year, is below him at fifth position. His rating has become 675. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has moved to sixth place with a rating of 667.

Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami also included in top 10

Meanwhile, the ratings of Kuldeep Yadav and Rashid Khan are equal. That means Kuldeep’s rating is also 667 and he remains at seventh position. On the other hand, Trent Boult of New Zealand is at number eight with a rating of 663. Shaheen Shah Afridi, who became the new T20 captain of Pakistan, could remain number one only for one week, he has reached number nine with a rating of 650. Mohammad Shami, the bowler who took the most wickets for Team India and performed amazingly in this year’s World Cup, is in tenth place. Earlier in the ratings, he was not able to make his place in the top 10, but now he has achieved a rating of 648.
