Now former England captain Nasir Hussain has said a big thing on the defeat of Team India.

Former England captain Nasser Hussain wrote in his column for ‘Sky Sports’ that India scored 436 runs in the first innings but they could have scored more runs. The Indian team is excellent and will bounce back. History is witness that it has not been easy for England to win here. This is an alarm bell for India because England has shown that baseball is effective here too. He said that this proves that England has great self-confidence. He is confident in his way of playing. They are not worried about outside things. I admire his determination. If you doubt them, they will become more stubborn and prove you wrong. This is a good thing because you are constantly listening and reading what is being written about you.

Ollie Pope played a brilliant innings

Nasser Hussain said Pope played Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja with ease and neutralized the Indian spin trio in the second innings. Hussain said that they were behind by 190 runs in the first innings but Ollie Pope played a memorable innings against such excellent spinners. Tom Hartley, who was seen struggling in the first innings, also took seven wickets. There is a lot of pressure when making a Test debut but Hartley faced it well in the second innings.

England had scored 246 runs in the first innings, in response to which Team India scored 436 runs in the first innings and took a lead of 190 runs. Due to this, Team India’s victory seemed certain to everyone, but England made a strong comeback and Ollie Pope batted brilliantly in the second innings of England. He turned the match towards England by scoring 196 runs. He was given the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his excellent innings.
