Now he is expected to return to the field in the third Test match of the series starting at Rajkot ground.

Rahul has returned to the squad, but after being declared completely fit by the medical team, he will be able to be a part of the playing 11. This can be considered a good news for Team India because with the return of Rahul, there will be strength in the middle order because while Virat Kohli will not be seen playing in the last three Test matches of the series, Shreyas Iyer will also not be seen playing due to being unfit. Hopes of Jadeja’s return also remain intact
