Earlier, Kapil Dev had achieved such a feat against West Indies in Ahmedabad in 1983.

During this innings, Jasprit Bumrah also completed his 150 wickets in Tests. Jasprit Bumrah has become the fastest Indian bowler to take 150 Test wickets in terms of balls. He achieved this feat in 6781 balls. Earlier, Umesh Yadav had taken 150 wickets in 7661 balls.
