IND A vs ENG A: A five-match Test series is to be played between India and England. This series will start from January 25. For which England had already announced their team. However, Team India is yet to be announced. Before this series, some matches will be played between England A and India A. For this, Team India’s A squad has been announced. Whose captaincy is in the hands of Abhimanyu Easwaran. Bengal’s experienced batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran will lead the 13-member India ‘A’ squad for the upcoming four-day match against England Lions on Saturday.
These experienced players got a chance
The England Lions team will also play a two-day practice match before this match on the India tour which will be held in Ahmedabad on 12-13 January. After this, a four-day match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium from 17 to 20 January. The Indian team also includes Sai Sudarshan, Rajat Patidar, KS Bharat and Navdeep Saini. These players have a lot of experience of playing on the big stage.
The India ‘A’ team is coming back from the South Africa tour in which the team played two unofficial Test matches which were drawn. KS Bharat was made the captain for the series in South Africa and Easwaran was also a part of the team. Easwaran played only in one match in which he scored 18 runs while Bharat could score only six runs. Pradosh Ranjan Paul is part of the squad for the England Lions series. He will be one of the players to keep an eye on as he was his team’s top scorer in South Africa. He played an innings of 163 runs in the first unofficial test.
