Indian women’s team saved its honor by winning the last T20 match, Smriti Mandhana showed amazing performance with the bat.

Indian women’s cricket team managed to save the honor of winning the last match after losing the first two matches of the ongoing three-match T20 series against England. In the last match of the series played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the England team, batting first, was limited to 126 runs in 20 overs. In response, Team India achieved this target in 19 overs at the loss of 5 wickets, in which Smriti Mandhana played a brilliant inning of 48 runs, apart from this, Jemimah Rodriguez also scored 29 runs.

Jemima returned to the pavilion after playing an innings of 29 runs in 33 balls. Team India lost its second wicket at the score of 68.

Team India got the third blow in this match in the form of Deepti who was out after scoring 12 runs on the score of 94. Whereas on the score of 112, the fourth blow came in the form of Smriti Mandhana who returned to the pavilion after playing an inning of 48 runs. In the end, captain Harmanpreet Kaur along with Amanjot Kaur returned after leading the team to victory by 5 wickets in this match. Amanjot played an unbeaten inning of 10 runs in 4 balls. For the England women’s team, Freya Camp and Sophie Ecclestone took 2-2 wickets.

If we talk about the innings of England women’s team in this match, their start was very bad. The team had lost the first three wickets till the score was 26. After this, captain Heather Knight along with Amy Jones tried to handle the innings by making a fourth partnership of 41 runs. However, on the score of 68, England got the fourth blow in the form of Jones who returned to the pavilion after scoring 25 runs. After this, a series of wickets falling rapidly from one end was seen. Whereas Heather Knight took the team to a respectable score in this match with her innings of 52 runs. For India, in this match, Saika Ishaq and Shreyanka Patil took 3-3 wickets, while Renuka Singh and Amanjot Kaur took 2-2 wickets.
