Mayank Agarwal Files Police Complaint: Team India player and Karnataka captain Mayank Agarwal has been admitted to the hospital. He fell ill on the plane ready to take off from Agartala to New Delhi. Mayank Aggarwal has lodged a complaint with the police and has alleged conspiracy. He drank a beverage, mistaking it for water, from a pouch that was kept on his seat in the IndiGo airline flight. After drinking it he fell ill. Mayank has lodged a formal complaint with the police through his manager. West Tripura Superintendent of Police Kiran Kumar said that Mayank Agarwal is an international cricket player. Now his condition is stable. But his manager has filed a complaint at the New Capital Complex police station to investigate the matter.

His manager has said that when he was boarding the plane, a pouch was placed in front of him. He drank a little of it but suddenly his mouth started feeling burning and he could not even speak and was brought to ILS Hospital. There was swelling and ulcers in his mouth. His condition is stable.
Mayank will not play the next match
An official of the Karnataka State Cricket Association said that Mayank is not in any danger. He is currently under observation in a hospital in Agartala and after getting an update from the doctors, we will take him back to Bengaluru. Hopefully we will get an update on that by tonight. Mayank, however, will not play the team’s next Ranji Trophy match against Railways in Surat. He scored 51 and 17 runs in both the innings against Tripura. 32 year old Mayank has played 21 test matches for the Indian team.
