Pakistan Cricket Team: Pakistan suffered a 3-0 defeat in the three-Test series against Australia. The bowlers and batsmen of the Pakistani team could not perform well. Now Pakistan Cricket Board seems to be in a mood to take action against one of its own star spinners.
PCB can take action against this player
Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has been struggling with lower back problems for the last few days. Due to injury, he could not play a single match in the Test series against Australia. Now the Pakistan Cricket Board may take action against leg spinner Abrar for not following the instructions of the medical team during the Test series against Australia. After consulting the Pakistan team doctor, physio and trainer, the PCB medical panel has submitted its report to the Chairman of the Board.
Debut in the year 2022
The report said that Abrar Ahmed had been negligent towards treatment since the World Cup played in India last year. According to PCB sources, the board is considering taking action against Abrar. Sources said Abrar has been sent to the National Cricket Academy in the country where his treatment process will be monitored daily. Abrar made his debut for Pakistan in the year 2022. So far, he has taken 38 wickets in 6 Test matches for Pakistan, which includes 5 wicket hauls twice.
Pakistani team is at number six
After losing three consecutive Test matches against Australia, the Pakistani team has reached sixth position in the WTC points table. Pakistan has currently played 5 matches in the current World Test Championship, out of which it has won 2 and lost three. The team’s winning percentage is 36.66.
