It was none other than Francis Minz, father of Jharkhand player Robin Minz. Gill met his father at Ranchi airport. Robin Minz has been included in their squad by Gujarat Titans this year.

He also wished Gujarat Titans all the best and thanked the team. Gill posted the story of meeting Minch’s father on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Honoured to meet Robin Minch’s father. Jharkhand’s star will play under the captaincy of Gill
Robin is from Jharkhand and is also the first tribal player to get an IPL contract. He was bought by Titans for Rs 3.60 crore in the IPL 2024 auction in Dubai. He is a southpaw and is known for his power-hitting ability. Minj can be seen playing in the lower middle order this season. Due to his power-hitting ability, the team will also be considering him as a finisher.
