The international career of this player was nothing special and after playing only two test matches, this player could not get further opportunities. However, this player had performed brilliantly with his bowling in first class cricket. This player is none other than Jharkhand star Shahbaz Nadeem. Shahbaz Nadeem has suddenly decided to take retirement from first class cricket. That means he will no longer be seen playing red ball cricket. He had been hoping to return to the Indian team for a long time, but due to not getting the opportunity, he finally took the decision.

Was unsold in IPL

Shahbaz Nadeem remained unsold in IPL this season. No team had shown interest in including him in their squad. He clearly said that he will continue to participate in other leagues. That means he is focusing on playing in foreign T20 cricket. On the other hand, he played his last red ball match against Rajasthan in Ranji Trophy. After this he will no longer be seen playing even in domestic cricket.

How was your career?

If we take a look at Shahbaz Nadeem’s career, he made his Test debut for India against South Africa in the year 2019. After that match, he got a chance to play against England in the year 2021. After these two matches, he did not get a chance to play for India even once. He did not perform much in international cricket and could take only 8 wickets in two test matches. But his figures in domestic cricket are excellent. He took 542 wickets in 140 first class matches and 175 wickets in 134 List A matches. In IPL, he played for Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Where he took 48 wickets in 72 matches.
