India-A vs England Lions: The second test match is being played between India and England. Three days of play have been completed in this match and Team India has given a target of 399 runs to England to win. On the other hand, a series of three unofficial test matches was played between India A team and England Lions. India A team defeated the British England Lions team by 134 runs in the third and last unofficial test match. In this match, the bowlers and batsmen have performed strongly for the India A team.
Spinners did wonders
India A team gave a target of 403 runs to England Lions to win the third unofficial test match, in response to which England Lions team was limited to only 268 runs. With this, India A team has won the three test match series 2-0. India A team had defeated Lions team by an innings and 16 runs in the second test match. The spinners performed brilliantly for India A in the third test. Spinner Shams Mulani (five wickets for 60 runs) and Madhya Pradesh off-spinner Saransh Jain (three wickets for 50 runs) together took eight wickets, due to which England’s second innings, which started the game at 83 runs for two wickets in the morning, ended quickly.
England’s batting disintegrated
England Lions opener Alex Lees, who started on 41, brought up his half-century and was looking in good form. But he was out on Mulani’s ball and his innings of 55 runs ended. Then England’s score was 120 runs for four wickets. But the team lost three more wickets within 20 runs, taking its score to 140 runs for seven wickets. Mullaney took the wickets of England Lions captain Josh Bohannon (18) and Dan Mousley (05). The England Lions team was not going to go out without a challenge. Wicketkeeper batsman Ollie Robinson (80 runs) and James Coles (31 runs) made a partnership of 104 runs for the eighth wicket and easily took the team beyond 200 runs. Shams Mulani ended this partnership.
This player scored a century
Young batsman Sai Sudarshan showed an amazing performance in the second innings for India-A. He played an inning of 117 runs. Apart from him, Saransh Jain showed strength in batting apart from bowling. He scored 63 runs. Rinku Singh contributed 38 runs. Tilak Verma scored 46 runs. It was because of these players that the Indian A team was able to score 409 runs in the second innings. Sai Sudarshan, who scored a century for India A in the match, received the Player of the Match award.
