Ranji Trophy 2024 SemiFinal Teams: The battle of Ranji Trophy 2024 has reached its final stage. The four teams of the semi-finals have been decided. The quarter-final match between Mumbai and Baroda has ended in a draw. But on the basis of first innings lead, Mumbai team has qualified for the semi-finals. Mumbai entered the semi-finals
In the quarter-final match, Mumbai team batted first and scored 384 runs, in response to which Baroda team could score only 348 runs in the first innings. After this, Mumbai got a lead of 36 runs on the basis of first innings, which became the means for it to go to the semi-finals. Mumbai team scored 569 runs in the second innings. After this, Baroda got a target of 606 runs to win, in response to which Baroda team could score only 121 runs at the loss of 3 wickets and the match was drawn.
Musheer Khan scored a double century
Musheer Khan performed strongly in the match. He played an innings of 203 runs in the first match. He was given the Player of the Match award. Mumbai started the last day at 379 runs for nine wickets when Tanush Kotian was playing on 32 and Tushar Deshpande was playing on 23 runs. Both added 232 runs in 240 balls for the tenth wicket. Both fell one run short of breaking Ajay Sharma and Maninder Singh’s record of the highest partnership for the tenth wicket. Kotian remained unbeaten on 120 runs in 129 balls while Deshpande scored 123 runs in 129 balls.
These four teams reached the semi-finals
Teams from Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh have reached the semi-finals of Ranji Trophy 2024. Vidarbha will face Madhya Pradesh in the first semi-final on March 2. Mumbai will face Tamil Nadu in the second semi-final on March 2 itself. The final match will be held between March 10 and March 14.
