The way India won the last match of the Test series being played on the tour of Australia in the beginning of the year 2021 is still alive in the hearts of Indian fans. The way Team India won against the Australian team at the Gabba Cricket Stadium in Brisbane on 19 January 2021 while chasing a target of more than 300 on the last day of the Test match, it was recorded in the pages of history. However, now Cricket Australia is preparing to demolish this historic Gabba Cricket Stadium, which according to reports will start being demolished after the Ashes series to be held in the year 2025.

Gaba Stadium will be demolished due to preparations for Olympics 2032

Australia is to host the Olympic Games in the year 2032, which will be organized in Brisbane. Before this, Olympic Games would be organized in Australia in Melbourne in the year 1956 and Sydney in the year 2000. Keeping the Olympics in mind, Australia has decided to demolish and rebuild the Gabba Stadium, where modern facilities will also be increased. Gaba is counted among the most beautiful cricket stadiums in world cricket, in which the total capacity of spectators here is 42000. The aim behind renovating this stadium is to increase the capacity of spectators in this stadium, which will be tried to increase to more than 50,000. This stadium will be demolished after the match between Australia and England in the Ashes series to be played here in the year 2025.

Rishabh Pant’s excellent innings led India to victory.

Many historic cricket matches have been organized so far in Gaba Stadium. The dominance of the Australian team has always been seen here. Apart from this, if we talk about the victory of the Indian team in that Gabba, they had got a huge target of 328 runs in the last innings of the match. After this, on the basis of Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten 89, Shubman Gill’s 91 and Cheteshwar Pujara’s 56 runs, the Indian team achieved this target at the loss of 7 wickets. With this victory, Team India also managed to win the Test series by 2-1.
