Let us tell you that Nazmul Hasan had taken over this post in the year 2012. In the general elections held on January 7, he had registered a big victory while contesting from Kishoreganj-6. In such a situation, if Nazmul Hasan leaves his post, then in this situation any member of the governing body can hold this post till the elections are held.

BCB will have to talk to ICC if Nazmul leaves the post

If Nazmul Hasan decides to leave the post of Bangladesh Cricket Board President before the completion of his tenure, then in such a situation BCB will have to talk to ICC. In fact, according to ICC rules, if a governing body of a cricket board is elected, then it has to complete its tenure. In this situation, Nazmul will have to remain on this post till the month of October 2025. At the same time, BCB must also have told ICC that there is no interference of the government there in the functioning of the board.
