Berger was signed by Rajasthan Royals in the auction for just Rs 50 lakh.

He had an impressive performance in the 12th season of the BBL for Brisbane Heat, where he took 19 wickets in the tournament. Johnson took three wickets for the Oval Invincibles on his debut in The Hundred, bowling against the likes of Jos Buttler and Phil Salt. He got a whopping purse of Rs 10 crore by Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2024 auction.
