Bumrah has been playing continuously since becoming fully fit after suffering a stress fracture before the World Cup last year, so the team management may decide to rest him to manage his workload.
Shami’s return difficult
When the team was announced for the first two matches of this Test series, the name of Mohammed Shami was not included, who has not been seen playing a single international match since the World Cup. Shami is suffering from an ankle injury and has been sent to England to get it repaired, so it will take time for him to recover and it is looking difficult for him to make a comeback even in the last three Test matches of this series.
