Donovan Ferreria batted brilliantly for Joburg Super Kings. He hit strokes all over the field. He scored 56 runs in 20 balls, which included seven fours and three sixes. It was because of him that the team was successful in winning the match and he was not out till the end. He completed his half-century in just 18 balls, which is the fastest half-century in the history of the SA20 tournament.
Donovan Ferreria is a part of Rajasthan Royals team in IPL, but till now he has not got a chance to debut in IPL. Rajasthan Royals team has retained him. Ferreria has so far played two T20 matches for South Africa, in which he has scored 60 runs.
It was a bad start
Batting first, the Pretoria Capitals team gave a target of 168 runs to the Joburg Super Kings team, in response to which the Super Kings did not have a good start. When Reeza Hendricks returned to the pavilion after scoring just four runs. After this captain Faf du Plessis scored 9 runs. Then Moeen Ali and Donovan Ferreria allowed any more wickets to fall for the Super Kings and both of them led the team to victory. Moeen scored 25 runs in 21 balls. Apart from this, Romario Shepherd and Lizard Williams took 3-3 wickets each in bowling for Super Kings. Kyle Verreen scored the highest 72 runs for Pretoria Capitals. Captain Wayne Parnell contributed 22 runs.
