Narayan Jagadeesan was bought by Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2018 auction. After this he made his debut for CSK team in the year 2020. He has played 5 matches in IPL 2020, 2 matches in IPL 2022, total 6 matches in IPL 2023. So far, he has been able to score only 162 runs in 13 matches played in IPL. Chennai Super Kings had released him before IPL 2023. Then in IPL 2023 he played for Kolkata Knight Riders. Now before this season, he was released by the KKR team, but now his name is not in the IPL 2024 auction list. For this reason he will not be seen playing in IPL 2024.
Strong performance in domestic cricket
Narayan Jagadeesan has performed well in domestic cricket, but he could not leave his mark in the IPL. He had scored 1795 runs in 33 first class matches. He scored 2395 runs in 57 List-A matches. He has 8 centuries to his name in List A.
Bidding will be done on so many players
The list of players for the IPL 2024 auction has been released. This time IPL has selected 333 players for the auction. Of these, 214 are Indian and 119 are foreign players. Among the players selected for the auction, 116 players are capped and 215 are uncapped players. 23 players have kept their base price at Rs 2 crore for the auction. There are 13 players who have kept their base price for the auction at Rs 1.5 crore.
