BCCI vs PCB Central Contract: The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Wednesday, 28 February announced the central contract for the year 2024. Where many big decisions were taken by BCCI. A total of 11 players have been included in this new contract list. Whereas 7 players have been released from the contract. This time a total of 30 players have been made part of this contract. On the other hand, if we talk about Pakistan, they had announced their central contract on 20 October 2023. He had also included 30 players in his central contract. What is the difference between the central contracts of India and Pakistan?

On the international stage, both India and Pakistan have big names in cricket. Whenever a cricket match is played between the two countries, a different kind of enthusiasm is seen among the fans. There are many star players in both the countries. In such a situation, let us take a look at the central contract salaries of both the countries. According to the new deal in Pakistan, 30 central contract players have been divided into four grades. Players in Grade A will earn 4.5 million PKR ($15,900 or approximately 13.18 lakh Indian rupees) every month. Grade B players will get PKR 3 million ($10,600 or ₹8.79 lakh approximately). Those in grades C and D will get 0.75-1.5 million PKR ($2650-5300 or approximately Rs 2.19-4.39 lakh) per month.

Talking about the central contracts of India, players in Grade A+ in India are given Rs 7 crore every year. That means Rs 58.3 lakh every month. Grade A players get Rs 5 crore every year. Grade B players are given Rs 3 crore and those in Grade C are given Rs 1 crore every month. That means approximately Rs 8.3 lakh every month. That means even the lowest grade player of India earns equal to the grade B player of Pakistan.

  • Grade B: Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
  • Grade C: Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shardul Thakur, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, KS Bharat, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan and Rajat Patidar.

Pakistan

  • Grade A: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi
  • Grade B: Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shadab Khan.
