Although Gayle is always known for his aggressive batting, this time in the match he was batting in a more explosive manner. Tillakaratne Dilshan was out after scoring 33 runs. Virat Kohli, who came in his place, could also score only 11 runs. But Gayle’s attack continued.

In response to this, the entire team of Pune Warriors could score only 133 runs. In this way Pune had to face a bad defeat of 130 runs. All the players of the opposing team together could not score as many runs as Chris Gayle scored alone.
