‘Aam Aadmi Party’s office has been built by encroachment, vacate it by June 15 – Supreme Court – India TV Hindi

AAP will have to vacate party office by June 15

New Delhi: The problems of Aam Aadmi Party are not showing signs of decreasing. After many leaders going to jail, now the party will have to vacate its central office. The Supreme Court, while hearing a petition, has ordered the party to vacate its office. The court said that in view of the Lok Sabha elections, time is given till June 15.

This is encroachment on the land given to Delhi High Court

While giving its order, the court said that this is an encroachment on the land given to the Delhi High Court. The purpose of this land is to construct additional courtroom for Rouse Avenue Court. Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing on behalf of Aam Aadmi Party, said that this land was given to AAP during 2015. The party is one of the six national parties in the country and is in need of a plot.

AAP can apply to the government for a new office

On this, the Supreme Court said that AAP can apply to the government for a new office. The court also said that the concerned department should take a decision on AAP’s application within 4 weeks. Let us tell you that a hearing in this matter was also held on 14th February. During this, the Chief Justice had expressed his displeasure and said that laws are being broken in this and he cannot allow this to anyone.

Central government misled the court – AAP

It is noteworthy that a petition was filed in the court saying that AAP’s office is running on the plot of Rouse Avenue allotted to Delhi High Court. Earlier there was the residence of Delhi’s Transport Minister, but later AAP made its office here. In this matter, Aam Aadmi Party has said that the Central Government has misled the court. There has been no encroachment here. This land has been given to you by Delhi Government.
