Israel-Hamas war completes 100 days

100 Days of Israel Hamas War: 100 days of war between Israel and Hamas have been completed. During this period, Israel conducted military operations in the Gaza Strip in a very dangerous manner. Thousands of civilians in Gaza fled from north to south Gaza. After aerial attacks, the Israeli army broke the back of Hamas by carrying out ground attacks. However, a large number of civilians died in this campaign. Meanwhile, on the completion of 100 days of the war, a big statement from US President Joe Biden has come out.

Amidst the war between Israel and Hamas, America said on Sunday that this is the right time for Israel to reduce its military operation in the Gaza Strip. On the other hand, Israeli leaders talked about continuing their campaign against the extremist group Hamas. This comment by America has highlighted the growing differences between America and Israel on the 100th day of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said on CBS news that the US is in talks with Israel ‘about reducing military operations’ in Gaza. He said, ‘We believe that this is the right time to reduce the military campaign and we are in talks with Israel about this.’ Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes on Sunday targeted Hezbollah positions in Lebanon after a missile attack by Hezbollah killed two Israeli civilians. These retaliatory attacks have raised concerns that the ongoing fighting in Gaza could spill over into the region.

24 thousand Palestinians have died so far

  • Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 and killed about 1,200 people. Most of them were common citizens. Apart from this, more than 250 people were taken hostage, after which Israel started its aggressive military campaign in the Gaza Strip.
  • 24 thousand Palestinians have lost their lives in Israel’s military campaign.
  • A large part of Gaza has been destroyed.
  • 85 percent of the people of Gaza, with a population of 2.3 million, have been forced to leave their homes.
  • A quarter of the population of the Gaza Strip is suffering from starvation.

Contrary to Biden’s statement, Netanyahu said ‘military operations will continue’

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the military operation will continue until Hamas is completely destroyed and all 100-plus hostages are freed. On one hand, Israel is carrying out daily attacks on the positions of Lebanese extremist group Hezbollah, while on the other hand, Iran-backed militias are attacking American positions in Syria and Iraq. Due to this the tension in this area has increased considerably.

100 days of war completed, thousands of people took to the streets in Europe and Middle East

On the other hand, on Sunday, the 100th day of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, thousands of people took to the streets in Europe and West Asia. During this, the protesters demanded the release of Israelis held hostage by Hamas and a ceasefire in Gaza. In Israel, families of hostages held a 24-hour rally in Tel Aviv on Saturday night, urging the Israeli government to secure the release of their loved ones.
