Hindu temple built by BAPS in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi and Bahrain: The first Hindu temple built in Abu Dhabi was consecrated on Wednesday. This temple in Abu Dhabi is very grand and huge. Sanatani culture can be seen here. This temple built by BAPS was inaugurated by PM Modi on 14 February. In this way, the first temple was completed in the Muslim country of UAE also in Abu Dhabi. Now after Abu Dhabi, a Hindu temple is going to be built in another Muslim country. For this, land has been obtained from the King of this country. Work on this will start soon.
After UAE, a temple is going to be built in another Muslim country Bahrain. This temple will also be as huge as the temple in Abu Dhabi. The important thing is that it is also going to be built by Bochasan resident Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha i.e. BAPS. BAPS delegation met the Ruler of Bahrain regarding the construction of the temple. The land for the temple has already been allotted by the Bahrain government and now the formalities to start the construction have also been completed.
Crown Prince had announced for land allotment on 1 February
On February 1, 2022, Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa had announced the allotment of land to build the Swaminarayan Hindu Temple. After this, the delegation of Swami Aksharati Das, Dr. Prafulla Vaidya, Ramesh Patidar and Mahesh Devji met him regarding the construction of the temple. BAPS has stated that the purpose of the temple is to welcome people of all religions, providing space for various cultural and spiritual activities.
PM Modi expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince
Guru Mahant Swami Maharaj of BAPS has expressed gratitude to Indian Prime Minister Modi and Crown Prince of Bahrain for the temple land in Bahrain. Also said that this reflects the eternal belief of close relations and religious harmony between the two countries.
