Gorkha Fighting For Russia: Nepal distanced itself from the Agniveer scheme of the Indian Army. After this, Nepal’s Gorkha soldiers are joining the Russian army in large numbers. But Nepal will also be embarrassed to know what their condition is there. Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and the Foreign Ministry have revealed that so far 6 Gorkha soldiers of Nepal have died while fighting with the Ukrainian Army. Even their bodies have not been able to come from Russia. Not only this, despite being Hindu, these soldiers were buried there.
However, even after all this, the process of Nepali Gorkha soldiers reaching Russia is still not ending. Even one citizen is being returned every day from the Nepalese Embassy in Moscow. While on one hand Nepali soldiers are reaching Russia, on the other hand even the bodies of Nepali soldiers are not able to return from Russia. Rather many Nepali soldiers are being sent back.

According to the report of Kathmandu Post, the government of Nepal has not allowed its citizens to join the Russian army. Despite this, every day some Nepali Gorkha is reaching Moscow. Only UK and Indian Army are allowed to join by Nepal Government.
Nepali Gorkha soldiers fighting against each other in war
Nepali PM Prachanda has revealed that many Gorkha youth are currently serving in the Russian army, while some are also serving in the Ukrainian army. Nepal’s Ambassador to Russia Milan Raj Tuladhar estimates that there are a total of 150 to 200 Gorkha soldiers in the Russian Army. Nepali Ambassador said that the youth of the country are being promised a lot of money.
Prachanda government demanding dead bodies of Nepalese youth
Earlier, Nepal’s Foreign Ministry had issued an advisory saying that Nepali citizens should not join foreign armies in war-torn countries. Nepali Gorkha soldiers killed in Russia are not getting even the land of their country. The Nepali Foreign Ministry said that the bodies of the killed Nepalese youth have been buried there by the Russian Army. Nepal has now demanded from Russia to send back the buried bodies of the Nepali youth so that their last rites can be performed as per Hindu customs.
