Pakistan News: The situation in Pakistan has deteriorated badly, the law and order situation is very bad. In the latest case, the Lahore residence of former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar was attacked with a grenade on Wednesday evening, in which two policemen were injured. Senior police officers reached the spot and investigated. Punjab Police spokesperson said that we are investigating the case from all aspects. He said that the police has increased the security of the former CJP.

Two security personnel were injured in Justice’s garage after the explosion.

According to the information, Justice Nisar told a Pakistani news channel that he and his family members were sitting in the drawing room. Then there was a massive explosion in the house. When I went to the garage of the house, I saw two security personnel lying injured and groaning. These policemen told that unknown people had come and thrown a grenade in the garage and escaped. Justice Nisar further said that the injured security personnel were taken to the hospital. Justice Nisar has expressed apprehension that this attack could be a serious conspiracy against them. This bomb attack is part of the same conspiracy.

This bomb attack is an attempt to spread fear: Punjab Police

Punjab Police Chief Usman Anwar has taken cognizance of the incident and has sought a report from Lahore city police officer. According to Punjab Police, preliminary investigation has revealed that this is a malicious attempt by the enemies to spread fear and terror. The police spokesperson said the possibility of foreign involvement could not be ruled out. The spokesperson said that the evidence found from the incident site is being investigated. The culprits will be detected soon.

Justice Nisar himself had given the verdict against Sharif

It is noteworthy that the Supreme Court bench headed by the then CJP Nisar had disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Panama Papers case in 2017. Due to this, Sharif had to resign from the post of Prime Minister. General elections have been announced in Pakistan. PML-N supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned to Pakistan in October after spending four years in Britain. He returned to the country after four years and has fully entered the electoral fray. They will file election nominations today. According to the information, Nawaz Sharif can contest elections from Mansehra region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. There are also reports of him contesting elections from Lahore.
