Driver hits car at the gate of Buckingham Palace, arrested after creating panic – India TV Hindi

There was a stir in Britain’s Buckingham Palace when an unknown car came and hit the gate. The security personnel quickly ran and arrested the driver. Now he is being interrogated thoroughly. British police caught a man after his car crashed into the gates of Buckingham Palace. A statement issued by London Police said, “Armed officers arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of criminal damage. He was taken to hospital. There are no reports of injuries.” He also confirmed that investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”

Buckingham Palace also verified that no family members were harmed in the incident, as they were all inside the residence at the time. Additionally, it was confirmed that repairs to the damaged gates were underway.

Eyewitnesses described hearing a ‘loud bang’ at the scene. The video shows armed police officers surrounding the driver, who is on his knees, and being instructed to put his hands on his head, the Mirror reported.

Media personnel heard the sound of the explosion

An eyewitness told the media, “I heard a loud bang, and I looked over and the car had crashed into Buckingham Palace. Police immediately reached the spot, pulled out the man and arrested him. Buckingham Palace is the official residence and administrative headquarters of the British monarch, located in the City of Westminster, England. It has been the principal residence of the ruling monarchs of the United Kingdom. It was acquired by King George in 1761 as a private residence for his wife, Queen Charlotte.
