Actually, the Earth has four major layers, which are called inner core, outer core, mantle and crust. According to the information, the plates present under the earth keep rotating, when they collide with each other, vibrations start under the earth’s surface. When these plates shift from their place, earthquake tremors are felt. This place is most affected by earthquakes. However, if the intensity of the earthquake is high then its tremors are felt over long distances.
