Earthquake in Pakistan: An earthquake struck parts of Pakistan on Thursday afternoon. According to the information, an earthquake occurred in some parts of Pakistan on Thursday, the intensity of which was measured at 6 on the Richter scale. Meteorological Department gave this information. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said in a post on ‘X’ that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Hindukush region of Afghanistan. The magnitude 6 earthquake struck at 2:20 pm (local time). Its center was in the Hindukush region at a depth of 213 kilometers. Since October last year, Afghanistan has been shaken twice by earthquakes of magnitude six and above.

The intensity of this earthquake has been measured at 6.1 on the Richter scale and its center is said to be 220 kilometers below the ground. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Punjab, Poonch and Chandigarh of Jammu and Kashmir.
