Russia Ukraine War: There is a fierce war going on between Russia and Ukraine. This war has been going on since February last year. Meanwhile, a former Ukrainian MP who fled Ukraine and reached Russia has been shot dead.

The body of a former Ukrainian MP who fled to Russia immediately after the attacks on Ukraine has been found near Moscow.

After this incident, the Ukrainian army’s intelligence unit warned that ‘other traitors of Ukraine’ would also meet the same fate. The body of former Ukrainian parliament member Ilya Kieva, 46, was found in a village near Moscow on Wednesday with gunshot wounds to his head. Kiev had appealed for surrender when Russian troops attack Kiev in February 2022.

Russia starts murder investigation

Russia’s Investigative Committee has started investigation into this murder case. In televised remarks, Ukrainian military intelligence spokesman Andrey Yusov said Kieva had “died” and added that “the same fate will befall other traitors to Ukraine and those who supported Putin.”

Kieva was a frequent participant in TV shows broadcast in Russia, during which he several times criticized the Ukrainian leadership. Ukrainian authorities charged him with treason. Russian officials have blamed Ukrainian security agencies for the Kiva and other attacks in Russia.

Putin went on a visit to two Muslim countries

For the first time after almost 22 months of war with Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin has left for a visit to two major Muslim countries. His visit is taking place just after NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg’s claim that he has warned NATO countries to be prepared for bad news from Ukraine.

Let us tell you that despite the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the war on Ukraine, Russian President Putin left on Wednesday to visit both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). First he went to United Arab Emirates and then left for Saudi Arabia. Dubai is hosting the UN’s COP28 climate talks.
