Nepal: Two Indians arrested for drug possession
Nepal News: Many criminal activities take place through India’s neighboring country Nepal. In the latest case, two Indian citizens were arrested on Friday for possessing drugs in Nepal. Police gave this information. According to the news bulletin of Nepal Police, Chand Shah (19) was arrested after 25 grams and 200 mg of a substance resembling ‘brown sugar’ was found in his possession.
Arrested from Nepalganj
Police said Shah was arrested from Nepalganj sub-metropolitan city in western Nepal’s Banke district. According to the police, he was arrested while crossing the border from India to Nepal with banned drugs. Similarly, another Indian national, Sonu Kumar Chaudhary (27), was arrested from Duhabi municipality in Sunsari district, police said on Friday.
Police started investigation
Police said Choudhary and a Nepalese man were arrested on Thursday for possessing 70 grams and five milligrams of ‘brown sugar’. Police have started investigating this case involving two Indian citizens.
