Imran’s party refuses alliance with Nawaz and Bilawal, says – enough alone – India TV Hindi

Islamabad: Jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday ruled out forming an alliance with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), saying it will Is in a position to form a federal government on its own. The Election Commission has so far announced the results of 139 National Assembly seats, out of which independent candidates supported by Khan’s party have won 55 seats. PML-N has won 43 seats, while PPP has won 35 seats. To achieve majority, 169 seats out of 336 are required, which also includes seats reserved for women and minorities.

Geo News quoted PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar Khan as saying, “We are not in touch with PPP or PML-N.” Gauhar Khan claimed that his party is winning 150 seats in the National Assembly and the Center is Will be able to get the required number of seats to form the government. He said, “We do not intend to form a coalition government with PPP and PML-N.” Gauhar Khan said, “We will form the government at the Center and in Punjab.” He said that PTI should have a clear mandate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She has the lead and will form the government there too. Gauhar Khan said that the independent candidate belongs to PTI and stressed that he will not join any party.

Independent candidate is in touch – PML-N leader

His statement came at a time when PML-N leader Ishaq Dar said that the winning independent candidates are in touch with his party. Speaking to ‘Geo News’ on Friday, the former Finance Minister said, “The independent candidate has contacted us and he will join any party in the next 72 hours as per the Constitution.” (input language)
