A complaint was filed by the cyber crime unit of Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Lahore in 2022 regarding the messages of the two students. In the complaint, the FIA ​​said it checked the students’ phones and found “obscene material”. According to the report, both the students have denied the allegations, saying that they have been “falsely implicated in a case”. Meanwhile, the father of the 22-year-old student has filed an appeal in the Lahore High Court against the lower court’s decision.
