Before the “two-plus-two talks”, America has made a big announcement regarding India. The US has said it “supports India as a leading emerging global power”. According to a fact sheet released by the US State Department, the US-India relationship is one of the most strategic and consequential relationships of the 21st century. The US has said it supports India’s emergence as a leading global power and an important partner in promoting a peaceful, stable and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
