India-US relations deeper and stronger than ever

Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Eli S Ratner told members of the Congressional Subcommittee on Indo-Pacific on Wednesday that the US is strengthening its relationship with India in many areas. Ratner, in response to a question from Democratic Congressman Adam Smith, said, ‘I would call the US-India relationship more developed and stronger than ever before, and it is essential to our vision of a free and open Indo-Pacific.’
Working together on jet engines and armored vehicles
He said, ‘We are strengthening the relationship in many areas, including together increasing production in each area where we have made some significant progress on jet engines. “This also includes some new projects on armored vehicles to integrate our defense industrial base, which are important towards further strengthening the relationship.”
Despite relations with Russia, our relations with India are strong: America
